Privacy Policy

This policy covers aivideosaver.com. It is short because the service collects very little — there is no account system, so there is no profile to build.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, names, email addresses, or passwords.
  • No record of which videos you look up or download.
  • No copies of the videos themselves.
  • No payment information — the service is free.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.

What is processed, and for how long

The link you paste

Your Meta AI link is sent to our server, used to fetch the post, and discarded when the response is returned. It is held in memory for the duration of the request and is not written to a database or a log file.

Video data

Video bytes stream from Meta's CDN through our server to your browser. They are not buffered to disk and no copy is retained.

Standard server logs

Our hosting provider records ordinary request metadata — IP address, timestamp, user agent, and the path requested — for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics. These logs are retained on the provider's standard schedule (typically up to 30 days) and are not cross-referenced with the links you submit.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, they are configured with IP anonymisation and are used only for aggregate traffic counts — page views, device categories, and referrers. Analytics never receive the links you paste. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

The tool sets no cookies of its own and requires none to function. If analytics are enabled, that provider may set its own cookies; your browser's cookie controls and any “do not track” setting apply as normal.

Third parties

  • Our hosting provider serves the site and keeps the server logs described above.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. serves the pages and video files we fetch on your behalf. Meta's own privacy policy governs its side of that request.

No other third party receives data from this site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. In practice we hold almost none — mainly transient server logs. To make a request, or to ask what is held, email support@aivideosaver.com.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
